Certifications
Motimate is built and run on leading cloud application platforms, that are certified for secure operations: ISO 27001, SOC 1 and SOC 2/SSAE 16/ISAE 3402 (Previously SAS 70 Type II), PCI Level 1, FISMA Moderate, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
Scalable and robust
Motimate runs on a lightweight container environment that automatically scales with the traffic load. Media files are hosted and distributed through global cache network providing high performance all over the world. The application is protected with firewalls and our infrastructure provides DDoS mitigation techniques including TCP Syn cookies and connection rate limiting in addition to maintaining multiple backbone connections and internal bandwidth capacity that exceeds the Internet carrier supplied bandwidth.
Employee training
We use our own application to train out internal staff on security and best practices, customer service and product development.

At Motimate we take security seriously which is why we have put a lot of time and effort into making sure that our platform meets the high standards that are expected by our clients:

Information limitation
We only process personal information to deliver the Motimate service to our customers. We do not use personal information for commercial purposes.

We limit our processing of personal information to only what’s necessary to provide our service. We anonymize data when possible.

We limit the disclosure of personal information to what is required to provide our service. We have data processing agreements in place with all suppliers that receive personal information. We use suppliers and data centers within the EEA.

Storage restrictions
We keep personal information only for as long as our customers require it. Upon termination of a customer agreement, we delete, return or anonymize personal information as agreed. Database is encrypted with AES-256 encryption algorithm.

We have established security measures to protect against personal information falling into the wrong hands or being lost. We maintain and regularly revise our safety measures.

We have established internal procedures and processes to ensure that our work with personal information is done in a structured and documented manner.
API and integrations

Our system is yearly put under external audit by a security company that test and analyze the system security. Based on best practices and findings, they find bugs and educate developers on security hardening.
Fully automated deployment and testing
Motimate is a cloud native application that uses automation to develop and test the new functionality at high speed. Test planning is done in early design and development to make sure that our development process is stable and fast.
We have put a lot of resources into developing training materials suitable for this form of communication, and we see that it has a good effect. The fact that the manager can follow the progression and follow up on those who are behind on the training programs has made it much easier to follow up in a busy everyday life.
